Of the eight players selected to represent South East England in the recent Touch National Finals in Nottingham five players were able to take up their selection in the Mens 35s, Mens 45s, Ladies 35s and Youth U18s. This was a first for our very young touch club and credit to the Operators who have gradually developed the skill sets to enable our social club to compete at such a level and hold their own. Its was especially pleasing to see Polly Ross come away with a gold medal in the 35 ladies and James Hurrell with a silver in the mens 4Os. Earlier in the month Tom Clark had impressed both spectators and commentators on the live feed as South East U18s youths came away with the silver medal.
